Enviro Infrastructure Wins Perth Stadium CCTV Rail Tender Worth $A1,724,979.
Enviro Infrastructure Wins Perth Stadium CCTV – Enviro Infrastructure has secured a $1,724,979 tender to install a CCTV solution as part of the Depot Security Improvements Project covering Perth Stadium, Claisebrook Depot, Burswood Station, and Victoria Park Stow Road areas.
According to the tender request, these locations have been vulnerable to ongoing vandalism and unauthorised entry, prompting the installation of cameras to enhance security and safeguard parked train sets.
Public Transport Authority is WA’s public transport provider and oversees a broad range of services, including metropolitan rail, bus, and ferry services under Transperth, regional services through TransRegional, long-distance passenger transport via Transwa, and school bus operations. Additionally, PTA is responsible for the ongoing design, construction, and maintenance of transport infrastructure, along with ensuring the sustainability of the state’s freight rail network.
PTA initiated the project to address security gaps, especially where train infrastructure is frequently targeted. The improved CCTV coverage aims to provide comprehensive monitoring, enabling PTA to promptly detect and respond to any intrusions, minimising damage and transport disruption.
Tender winner Enviro Infrastructure, based in Bibra Lake, Perth, provides civil construction, infrastructure maintenance, steel fabrication, welding, and rail safety services for local and state government agencies, as well as major infrastructure providers throughout Western Australia.
