Fairfield Seeks Supplier for Milestone VMS Licence and Support.
Fairfield Seeks Supplier for Milestone – Fairfield City Council is requesting quotations for the supply and support of Milestone XProtect video management system (VMS) software licences.
Council is seeking vendors with appropriate certification, demonstrated experience, and capacity to deliver best-value outcomes for the upgrade and ongoing support of its surveillance platform.
Council requires a complete response from prospective suppliers, including signed declarations and all supporting documentation.
Located 32km south-west of the Sydney CBD, Fairfield spans 104 square kilometres across 27 suburbs and borders several major local government areas including Liverpool, Cumberland, and Canterbury-Bankstown. The upgrade project will support security operations across council-managed facilities and assets.
Fairfield was one of the first council areas in Australia to install CCTV – the first cameras were installed in 1995 – and the council continues to expand and enhance the efficiency of the system, with improved cameras – primarily Axis Communications supported by Milestone XProtect VMS.
The system is managed in partnership with the NSW Police, including fixed and mobile cameras to assist police, enhance safety and security, and fight illegal dumping.
This Fairfield Seeks Supplier for Milestone tender closes 2.30pm AEST on July 23 – you can find out more here after registering or read more SEN news here.
