Fredon Stands By Its MATES – Fredon has announced a NSW Tier 1 Partnership with MATES in Construction.
MATES in Construction is an industry-based charity established in 2008 to reduce the elevated level of suicide among Australian construction workers. MATES helps in the prevention of suicide through on-site development programs, supporting workers through case management, and a 24/7 helpline.
MATES NSW CEO Brad Parker joined the Fredon team at Powerhouse Parramatta recently to mark the occasion, together with Fredon’s National HSEQ Manager Andrew Campbell, Electrical NSW general manager Chris Stanin, and national infrastructure manager, Troy Brewster.

“This industry partnership is the next step in our commitment to raising awareness and addressing the issue of suicide in our industry and community,” Campbell said.
“While we’ve been a supporter of MATES In Construction for several years now, we hope that this partnership will contribute to MATES In Construction’s goal to eliminate suicide from the construction industry.”
