Gallagher Drives Long For Bravehearts At Sanctuary Cove April 3.
Gallagher Drives Long For Bravehearts – Gallagher Security is gearing up for its third charity golf day next month, raising money for child protection organisation, Bravehearts.
To be held at The Palms Golf Course, Sanctuary Cove on 3 April, this year’s event looks set to build on the momentum of the previous years, which saw $13,500 and $42,500 raised respectively.
With the support of sponsors, ADT Security, Assa Abloy, B&R Enclosures, Convergint, Hexagon, Optic Security, PMT, Salto, Securcom, Seme, and Traka, Gallagher will be looking to double down on last year’s fundraising success to enable Bravehearts to continue its work solely dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse, a crime that affects a quarter of Australian children.
“We are committed to providing continued support for the critical work Bravehearts do, but this is not possible without the generous support of our sponsors,” said Gallagher Security national events manager Australia, Nicola Johnson.
“This year we are thrilled to introduce Securcom as our new platinum sponsor, recognising their ongoing sponsorship of the event since its inception, and their support to Bravehearts – installing a Gallagher security system into Bravehearts’ head office in 2022.”
Gallagher Security Certified Channel Partner, Securcom, general manager, Andrew Cocking, said the Securcom team was excited to be heading back to the green for this year’s event.
“We look forward to joining forces with the Gallagher team to make a difference in the lives of Australian children,” Cocking said. “The work Bravehearts do in the community is critically important, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to support their continued work across Australia.”
As a not-for-profit organisation operating for more than 25 years, Bravehearts relies on the support and fundraising initiatives of companies and individuals to enable them to continue the work they do in the community, including education, empowerment, and the protection of Australian children.
In addition to Gallagher’s Charity Golf Day event, Gallagher’s ongoing relationship with Bravehearts, which began in 2022, includes supporting the annual Bravehearts Ball, Bravehearts’ own golf day, initiatives around resources in schools, and the ongoing support and maintenance of the Gallagher security system donated and installed at Bravehearts HO in conjunction with Securcom.
“As a company passionate about protecting what matters most and ensuring people are at the heart of everything we do, there is an obvious synergy between Gallagher’s and Bravehearts’ values,” said Gallagher Security’s executive vice president for Asia Pacific and India, Middle East, and Africa (APAC and IMEA), Craig Schutte.
“We look forward to welcoming our sponsors and participants back to the green for this year’s event and invite anyone interested in supporting this worthy cause while enjoying a fun-filled day of golf to register and join us,” Schutte said.
