Gallagher Group Announces Partnership

GSMS Chief Executive, Bill Gallagher, says GSMS will distribute the well established DigiOp DVR system across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia Pacific Region through qualified dealers. Gallagher Security Management Systems is a leader in Cardax integrated access control and intruder alarms systems and PowerFence™ perimeter security systems. Trey Schwarz, CEO of General Solutions, indicated that under the agreement, General Solutions will reciprocate by distributing the Cardax systems and derivatives such as the high security Cardax FT XtraSec system, through its nationwide US dealer network. One of the significant benefits of the partnership is the provision of a seamless integrated solution between DigiOp DVR systems and Cardax FT. Live and recorded video images from the DigiOp systems are accessible through the Cardax FT user interface. One audit trail links DigiOp images to Cardax FT events. The integration provides a solution that merges digital imaging, access control, intruder alarms, alarms management, and intercom systems. Cardax electronic access control systems have been marketed and installed on a wide variety of sites globally over the last 20 years. The latest technology platform, Cardax FT, is now securing access to everything from offices to hospitals and universities to ports, mines and nuclear reactor sites. GSMS is the security division of Gallagher Group which exports to 130 countries. Gallagher Group has 380 staff employed at its headquarters in Hamilton, New Zealand.
