Gallagher Promotes Karl Harris To National High Security & Federal Manager.

Gallagher Promotes Karl Harris to national high security & federal manager – Gallagher Security has announced the promotion of Karl Harris to the role of national high security and federal manager.

Harris has been an integral part of Gallagher Security since joining the Australian Sales team in 2015 as a business development manager (BDM) in South Australia. Two years later Harris took up a newly established role as sales manager for South Australia and Northern Territory (SA & NT) and during his 6-year tenure, the region has seen exceptional growth.

Craig Schutte, Gallagher Security’s Executive Vice President for Asia Pacific and India, Middle East, and Africa said that by building key relationships within the high security space, Harris has established connections with key Australian Defence Force primes.

“This along with his proven ability to grow business sees him well positioned to continue working closely with Gallagher’s high security channel partners and Australian Federal Government clients with a focus on customer satisfaction and development,” Schutte said.

According to Schutte, Harris is a natural fit for the position due to his longevity with the company and his vast experience with Australia Federal Government work, including sensitive sites across the SA and NT regions.

“Working with our valued channel partners in South Australia and the Northern Territory, Karl and his team have grown the region in many key verticals, including defence, education, mining, councils, and health,” Schutte said.

“Karl brings with him a passion for high security with SA and NT experiencing a significant investment in expanding national Australian Defence Force capability, which he has been involved in for a number of years.”

Harris steps into the role from 1 November, joining Matt Turco, high security solutions engineer, to make up Gallagher Security’s High Security Team for Australia. Harris said he was looking forward to supporting channel partners nationwide along with ensuring all of Gallagher’s high security and Australian Federal Government clients continue receiving the same level of support and service they have come to expect.

“I am looking forward to applying the engagement and passion I have for high security and federal accounts across SA and NT to my new position nationwide,” Harris said.

“As well as supporting high security requirements I’m looking forward to delivering great outcomes for our many clients. This includes the continued support of our regional Gallagher teams, channel partners, consultants, builders, and other groups working in this critical vertical space.

“I’ll be attending the Security & Government Expo (SAGE) on Thursday 16th November (pre-register here) and I’m looking forward to meeting all our partners and clients.”

The current team of Mark Vickery and George Dunleavy will continue to support channel partners and end users across SA and NT, with the sales manager position will be replaced as a matter of priority to support Gallagher’s continued efforts.
