In year-end financial figures released this week, GE announced net earnings of $18.3 billion in 2005, up 12 percent from the year before. Revenues were up 11 percent to $149.7 billion. For the GE Infrastructure division, which includes GE Security, net profit was up 14 percent to $7.8 billion, making Infrastructure GE’s most profitable segment, though its unclear how much the security division contributed to that profit. GE Infrastructure’s revenues were up 12 percent to $41.8 billion.
