GOOGLE has teamed up with security manufacturer First Alert to develop protocols that allow Onelink by First Alert products to function with the Google Home device and its hands-free, voice-controlled Google Assistant technology.

The first Google Home-compatible Onelink product is a smart WiFi Thermostat and will reach the market before Christmas.
