Gracefield Innovation Quarter Seeks Alarms Access CCTV – Callaghan Innovation’s Gracefield Innovation Quarter, located at Lower Hutt near Wellington in New Zealand, is seeking a security integrator.
The Gracefield Innovation Quarter has a CCTV system and an access control and alarm system. According to the tender release, the CCTV and access control systems are required to have preventative maintenance completed on a 6-monthly basis and provide IQP certification for buildings’ Warrant of Fitness.
“We are looking for a qualified and experienced supplier to implement a proactively managed maintenance program, and when necessary, reactive repairs,” said Gracefield.
“Our ideal supplier will have strong communication skills, efficient administrative processes, and offer excellent value for money.”
This latter point has particular relevance, given the NZ Government’s recent decision to close disestablish Callaghan, though the large site will still need protection, even as responsibility for management of key GIQ entities is handed to other organisations.
The Gracefield Innovation Quarter in Lower Hutt was designed to allow the setup of high-tech businesses.
Using GIQs workshops, pilot plants, labs and equipment, companies resident in the quarter could access the specialist facilities and expertise needed to fast-track product development, scale up, deploy and test technology, and collaborate.
Facilities include a machine shop, glassblowing, rapid prototyping facilities, materials analysis and testing laboratories, a supercritical fluid extraction plant and measurement facilities, as well as resident organisation facilities.
This Gracefield Innovation Quarter Seeks Alarms Access CCTV tender closes on March 3 at 5pm – you can learn more here or read more SEN news here.
