Gympie Regional Council Seeks Security Services Across All Sites.
Gympie Regional Council Seeks Security Services – Gympie Regional Council has released a tender for the provision of security services across its asset base.
The tender seeks suitably qualified contractors to deliver a range of services including security patrols, asset lockups, after-hours response, static guarding and ad hoc call-out support. Event security management also forms part of the scope, along with services supporting animal management and parking operations.
From an operational perspective, the requirement centres on flexible service delivery across a diverse and geographically dispersed portfolio of council-owned and managed sites, each with differing risk profiles and security requirements.
Gympie Regional Council operates across the Wide Bay Burnett region in Queensland, managing a broad mix of infrastructure including administrative buildings, depots, community facilities, parks, libraries and public spaces. In addition to fixed assets, the council delivers a range of community-facing services and events, creating variable and sometimes unpredictable demand for security support.
This combination of static infrastructure and dynamic operational activity means contractors will be required to support both routine security functions and responsive services aligned with council operations, including after-hours incidents and public events.
This tender closes July 13 – you can learn more here or read more SEN news here.
