HID and Building Spaces Group Unify Tenant Management

HID and Building Spaces Group Unify Tenant Management By Combining Mobile Credentials With Software To Link Access Control, Building Services and User Management.

HID and Building Spaces Group Unify Tenant Management – Building Spaces Group and HID have combined mobile credentialing with tenant experience software to deliver a single platform that links access control, building services and user management.

The integration pairs HID Mobile Access and Origo credential management platform with InTenant, Building Spaces Group’s tenant and facilities application. The result is a consolidated system that manages identity issuance, door access, inductions, space bookings and fault reporting through a single mobile interface.

For building operators, the solution reduces fragmentation typical of multi-tenanted environments, where access control, onboarding and facilities management are handled across separate systems. In this model, credential provisioning is handled directly through the platform, with mobile credentials issued to a user’s device without the need for physical cards or manual activation processes.

Access permissions, user management and system interactions are handled within the same interface, removing the need to move between access control software, building management tools and separate communication channels. Induction material, notifications and service requests are also delivered through the application, consolidating functions that are typically distributed across multiple systems.

On the security side, HID Origo manages the lifecycle of mobile credentials across connected infrastructure, including doors, lifts, car parks and other access-controlled points. Credentials are issued, authenticated and revoked within the same framework, with integration to existing physical access control systems via standard interfaces.

From an operational perspective, each access event is tied to a verified mobile identity, creating a consistent audit trail without reliance on physical credentials. This addresses common issues associated with card-based systems, including loss, sharing and limited traceability.

The platform is designed to sit across existing infrastructure rather than replace it, allowing integration with installed access control systems while extending functionality into tenant-facing applications.

InTenant platform acts as the front end for users and building managers, supporting functions including space booking, service requests and communications, while HID provides the underlying identity and credential management layer.
