Hikvision DS-K2700X Series Access Controller – Hikvision DS-K2700X series is a modular professional access control platform designed for high-capacity, multi-door installations requiring flexible management, scalability, and redundancy.
Supporting up to 128 doors and 100,000 users, the DS-K2700X is engineered for enterprise-grade access control deployments across commercial and industrial facilities.
At its core, the DS-K2700X series controller supports RS-485 cascading, allowing up to 62 access modules to be linked, delivering control of 128 doors in total. A redundant mode is available, supporting 68 doors through 32 access modules, ensuring continuity and system resilience. Each controller can store up to 600,000 event records locally.
The controller is designed to simplify installation and operation. It features an embedded web interface, removing the need for client software and enabling direct configuration and management via a browser. Installation is flexible, with both wall-mount and DIN rail options available.
Some models in the range, including the DS-K2702WX-E1(P) and DS-K2702WX-E1, support power over ethernet (PoE), allowing both the controller and connected locks to be powered directly from the network, reducing installation complexity and cabling requirements.
Advanced access control functions include multi-door interlocking with support for up to 32 interlocked doors, anti-passback with up to 32 routes, first person in rules, and multi-factor authentication across 8 levels. These functions provide flexibility for configuring site-specific security requirements.
The DS-K2700X also supports backup battery integration for uninterrupted operation in the event of a mains failure and is designed to integrate with Hikvision’s broader ecosystem of security hardware and software, including intercoms, readers, and VMS.
