Hikvision OS Revenue Up 24 Per Cent

Hikvision OS Revenue Up 24 Per Cent – Hikvision reports overseas revenue for the first half of 2022 increased nearly 24 per cent, achieving a year-on-year growth of 23.72 per cent.

During the reporting period, the company generated RMB 37.26 billion, an increase of 9.90 per cent year over year. Net profits attributable to shareholders of the listed company were RMB 5.76 billion, reflecting a YoY decrease of 11.14 per cent.

According to Hikvision, in the first half year of 2022, the severe situation of epidemic prevention and control brought continuous challenges to the domestic economy. Meanwhile, the trend of de-globalization intensified, and conflicts broke out in some countries and regions.

“The changes in the political and economic situation between countries and/or regions brought greater uncertainty to business operations,” Hikvision said. “In this context the company has firmed its confidence and focused on the growth of its own capabilities.

“We endeavoured to promote robust development by harnessing comparative advantages in R&D innovation, industry understanding, marketing network, manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics,” Hikvision said.

“With continued external uncertainties, Hikvision maintained steady development, leveraging advantages in R&D innovation, flexible manufacturing capabilities, a global marketing & sales network, and quality of service. The company will remain focused on creating more value for customers with innovative AIoT technologies, products, and solutions.”

Moving forward, the company said it was committed to serving various industries through its cutting-edge technologies of machine perception, artificial intelligence, and big data, leading the future of AIoT.
