Hills has appointed Neil McLean as business development manager, based at its Torrensville branch in South Australia.

McLean comes to Hills with almost 40 years’ experience in the security industry, including 20 years with RAA. He previously served on the board member of the Australian Security Industry Association Limited (ASIAL), and is currently the convenor for ASIAL in South Australia.

Head of sales for security, surveillance and IT, Bill Sakellariou, said that McLean would be a great asset as Hills looks to promote and support its suite of security solutions, including Assa Abloy, Interlogix and Inovonics, amongst partners and key verticals.

“Neil’s experience in the sector means he understands the needs of integrators and can coordinate product sales to provide the best solution for the application.

“Everyone at Hills is focused on delivering the best support for our customers and Neil’s appointment reflects this commitment,” Sakellariou said. “Neil will assist our sales team to deliver the highest level of re-and post-sales support for our customers.”

Meanwhile, McLean said he was excited to represent Hills, and in turn, some of world’s leading security vendors.

“I’m looking forward to working with the Hills team to help grow existing channels and facilitate greater penetration into the security surveillance space," he said. ♦
