For Australian made week, Hills is highlighting the Australian-made products the team distributes, including the Lockwood range and the Hills Power Vacuum.
“The Aussie-made range includes Hills Power Vacuum, which is an awesome product made in Australia for Australian homes,” said Hills’ Jeff Corr. “The Hills Power Vacuum is a powerful unit that has an AMETEK quality motor with a 2-stage fan that includes a 145mm base turbine. It is rust and corrosion resistant and made from high impact polycarbonate; that means the HPV will last as long as the house.”

Also at Hills are a number of Australian-made products from the biggest name in locks, Lockwood. These include the 3570 Series electric mortice lock, which is manufactured in Australia and designed for easy configuration and versatility.
The 3570 is available in both monitored and non-monitored versions, have various latching functions, and are suitable for heavy duty applications. According to Corr, Lockwood brass door furniture is still made in Australia and Hills stocks a number of options that are all compatible with the 3570 Series Lock.
