HILLS has launched ZeroWire to strengthen its offering in the ANZ home security market.

Hills says that following a successful debut in the US, ZeroWire is expected to transform the ANZ home security landscape. An Interlogix solution, designed and developed in Australia, ZeroWire integrates Z-Wave technology with Wi-Fi radio to create an IoT home management hub that provides professional level security and smart-home automation.

With built-in Wi-Fi, customers have the versatility to place the low profile panel in any location where a wireless router signal is available. The system supports a variety of accessories to heighten security, including IP cameras that facilitate both live streaming and replay of video recordings. ZeroWire is controlled directly through a keypad or remotely using the UltraSync mobile app, allowing users to arm or disarm the system, control Z-Wave appliances and view live stream remotely via their iOS or Android devices.

Enhancing the connected experience, ZeroWire Z-Wave technology gives users the flexibility to add accessories from the extensive range of Z-Wave home automation devices available – including lights, thermostats and locks – providing a level of flexibility and customisation that is rarely seen in systems of this size and price point.

To ensure a seamless user interface that is responsive and reliable, ZeroWire employs state-of-the-art backend cloud infrastructure, based in datacentres located in Sydney and Melbourne.

Hills CEO, David Lenz, said ZeroWire was designed for customers who wanted an innovative, future ready alarm system with smart home capabilities.

“ZeroWire is the ideal choice for a complete, cost-effective security and home automation system. It’s easy to install and simple to use, and can be offered as a back-to-base monitored solution,” Lenz said.

“Hills offers ZeroWire in an Alarm Kit, providing essential security and automation features or as a CCTV Kit, which extends the interactive capabilities of the system and allows users to remotely monitor their home with the addition of IP cameras.

“Hills has a comprehensive range of ZeroWire security and automation accessories to cater to any customer requirement – contact your local Hills branch for more details”. ♦
