♦ ICT Protege VoIP Intercom – Protege PRT-IPIC-POE-C is a VoIP vandal resistant video intercom designed to handle harsh environments.

VoIP capability allows the intercom to communicate with any VoIP enabled device, including smartphones, providing the ability to grant entry from any connected location.

The unit delivers a live video feed to a remote monitoring station, web browser, or Protege GX system and features programmable auto-answer, allows control of devices such as lights and doors, has noise-reducing functionality, features optional offline operation and can operate as a standard wall-mounted unit for surface mount installations, with optional flush mount kits available.

Power is 12V DC (9-16V DC) and PoE Class 3, current draw is 1A, comms is SIP 2.0 (RFC-3261) and flow protocols are RTP/SRTP, with audio decoding options including G.722, G.711U, G.711A, G.723.1, G.726-32 and G.729AB codecs. There’s a 3W audio speaker, volume control, duplex speakerphone, an output for audio recording and 10/100Base via RJ-45.

The integrated camera is 960p (1280×960 pixels), and has a viewing angle of 115-degrees horizontal and 87-degrees vertical, with a frame rate of 30ips.

This unit has an environmental IP rating of IP65, a working temperature of -40 to 70C and wall-mounted dimensions of 223 x 130 x 74mm, in-wall dimensions of 270 x 150 x 61mm and a weight of 960g.
