IDIS 5MP Turret Cameras From Hills

IDIS 5MP turret cameras with 45 metres of IR and 36 months of warranty are now available from Hills, which has been distributing IDIS solutions for 20 years.

DC-D4511WERX is a fixed focal camera with 2.8mm lens, while DC-D4531WERX is a motorised varifocal camera with 2.7 – 12mm lens. Both are NDAA-compliant and support ONVIF Protocol to maintain compatibility and interoperability with a variety of CCTV systems.

“Given the flexibility both IDIS models offer, these cameras can be used in a variety of applications such as retail, commercial operations, and even at home for indoor and outdoor applications,” says Hills’ Ahmad Ali.

Their 5MP resolution and 45 metres of IR with IR cut filter and day/night function ensures a quality image day and night. Other features include WDR and an IR LED distance of up to 45 meters complete – providing clarity and a superior night use capability in complete darkness, according to Ali.

“Both these IDIS turrets are resilient to harsh weather and will perform in temperatures ranging from -30C to 55C,” Ali says. “Overall, both models ensure you have a flexible yet reliable security solution that will deliver clear surveillance no matter the environment, day or night.

“The key point of differentiation between the 2 models is the focal length they capture. Either way, IDIS Turret cameras are cost-effective and from South Korea’s largest CCTV manufacturer, which gives peace of mind with 36 months warranty.

“Since these cameras are NDAA compliant, they can make for an essential installation for government agencies and enterprises requiring advanced security.”
