♦ Independent Electronic Security Technician – Independent Locksmiths & Security electronic security division, secVision Networks, is seeking an apprentice electronic security technician.
SecVision Networks is a provider of security systems like CCTV cameras, alarms & access control, that specialises in security and IP networks, providing clients with security systems tailored to their specific needs.
An entry level role has opened within the secVision Networks team. The ideal candidate will have recently left school, have an interest in electronics and robotics. They would have the ability to use hand tools and be curious about the internet and how IP networks work.
Your duties & responsibilities would include:
* Work with senior electronics technicians to assist them to carry out installation and service work.
* Assemble and test systems in the workshop in preparation for installation.
* Troubleshoot and repair CCTV cameras in the workshop.
* Attend courses in electronic security for your apprenticeship. These will be paid for by the company.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
* Ability to work with hand tools such as pliers, screw drivers, soldering iron and drills.
* Knowledge of circuits and low voltage electronics.
* Curiosity about electronics and the internet
You need to have a car and be able to get to site when required – SecVision Networks workshop and office is located in North Parramatta with free parking onsite.
