ASIAL reports that the industry has 3 days to go until nominations for 23rd Annual Australian Security Industry Awards for Excellence and 4th Annual Outstanding Security Performance Awards close on September 10.

Organised by the Australian Security Industry Association Limited and World Excellence Awards, The awards recognise excellence and industry leadership in the security industry, as well as inspiring others to achieve greatness.

The event brings together hundreds of security executives from across the country to celebrate excellence in the industry. Awards winners will be announced at a prestigious industry awards ceremony and dinner to be held on the 18th October 2018 at Doltone House, Sydney (Hyde Park).

Nominations are open to all and provide an opportunity to recognise individuals (including frontline security personnel) who have gone above and beyond what would reasonably be expected of them and in providing a level of service that exceeds client expectations. Likewise, companies and teams who have shown leadership and innovation will also be recognised for their achievements.

Judging of the awards will be undertaken by an independent panel of judges that includes Damian McMeekin, managing director of CT Intelligence & Insight; John Adams, editor, Security Electronics and Networks Magazine; John Curtis, director of IPP Consulting Pty Ltd; Rachell DeLuca, senior security consultant, ARUP; Vlado Damjanovski, CCTV expert specialist and MD at ViDi Labs, and Michael Walker, senior manager, security services, facilities management, Reserve Bank of Australia.

Information on the nomination criteria and how to lodge a nomination can be found here.
