♦ Inovonics EN1248 Glassbreak Detector – The EN1248 detector from Inovonics is a wireless omni-directional glassbreak sensor with 180-degree coverage from the sensor to the point on the glass farthest from the sensor to a range of 8 metres.
Key features include supervision of low battery and tamper for reliability with 3 minutes polling, walk test capability to ensure functionality, comms is EchoStream frequency-hopping spread spectrum between 902-928 MHz, and the detection method is an omni-directional electric microphone.
The EN1248 Glassbreak Detector sensor has dimensions of 63mm x 630mm x 22mm, weighs 120g, AS/NZS 4268:2017 compliance, and offers battery life of 2 years from a pair of Energiser Ultimate lithium 1.5V AA batteries.
