ISC West Best New Products – ISC West is the biggest security exhibition on Earth and the SIA Best New Product awards highlight key product trends in electronic security.
Walking the floor at ISC West underscored the digital nature of the latest security systems, though in many cases this layer is applied to management and reporting of integrated solutions. Elements of the wider digital transformation of business systems included cloud, apps for everything and myriad applications of AI.
ISC West Best New Products
Alocity received the 2023 Best New Product Award for its Alocity Access Control Platform product, submitted in the Access Control Devices and Peripherals – Wireless category.
The Alocity solution manages access control with video and connected sensors, a multifunction reader with 3D face verification, mobile credentials over Bluetooth and NFC. It supports video intercom with remote unlock and features an onboard zigbee module to provides integration with zigbee motion, door/window contact, lights, locks and environmental sensors.
The Judges’ Choice Award was presented to IPVideo Corporation for its Sentry ERS product, submitted in the Emergency and Mass Communication Systems category. The SIA NPS Merit Award in this category went to Bosch Security Systems.
Sentry ERS is a lockdown and emergency response system purposely built with schools in mind. With a single button push, lockdown protocols are initiated and immediate alerts are sent to police providing superior incident awareness with live video, voice, text and GPS location data from areas where traditional video cameras cannot be deployed.

Additionally, Bosch Security Systems received the SIA NPS Merit Award, which recognizes an individual or company who, through their support of the SIA NPS Awards, demonstrates a commitment to the vision and mission of the program, contributes to its success and promotes the advancement of SIA and the security industry overall.
