Jack Fuse HSMA-4 High Security Module Adaptor Connects BQT High Security To Cabling.
Jack Fuse HSMA-4 High Security Module Adaptor – Jack Fuse HSMA-4 High Security Module Adaptor is designed to connect BQT high security modules to access control and card reader cables. The unit includes connections for 4 modules/readers, a common power input and simplified wiring.
“The BQT HSM simply plugs into the matching red or black connectors on the adaptor, and card reader and controller cables are then quickly connected via pluggable terminals,” explains Jack Fuse’s Ken McKeon.
“The HSMA-4 is supplied with DIN rail mounting clips suitable for top-hat and G-style rails, while the Wiegand and RS485 terminal blocks are removable and feature push in, spring clamp terminals. RS485 Card reader terminals ensuring voltage and data polarity requirements are observed.”
Installers can connect card reader power to either of the power input terminals at the top of the HSMA board, while the spare terminal can be used to feed power to a second HSMA – a green LED (PWR) indicates power is available.
