SecTech Launching In NZ!

SecTech NZ is a new touring tradeshow that will bring the latest security products and technologies to security installers and integrators, security consultants and security managers in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch in July 2025.

SECTECH NZ is a compact, affordable 1-day event, with the action generated by quality business relationships and the latest product releases displayed on simple pop-up stands. SECTECH is about talking the talk, not about the glitz of hugely expensive corporate booths.

Exhibitors deliver their road cases to an Auckland location a couple of weeks before the event and we take over from there, using our own transport teams and crews to get crates onto stands in each city for a 12-noon opening. Then we reload them at 6pm and handle transport them to the next city.

SECTECH NZ will be the first time Kiwi distributors and manufacturers have had an opportunity to exhibit at an independent event, with past roadshows organised by industry suppliers.

SECTECH NZ is organised by the publishers of Security Electronics & Networks, who also organise SECTECH Roadshow, which launched in Australia in 2015 and trucks around 5 state capitals every May. Now in its 10th year and thoroughly bench-tested on the big island, the SECTECH Roadshow concept really works – we can’t wait to show you how well.

SECTECH NZ will be vigorously promoted through SEN’s respected sen.news website and twice-weekly EDM’s, as well as through direct digital and social media campaigns. SEN is ANZ’s longest-running security publication — its forebear, Security Australia, was first published in January 1981.

SEN has a close connection with New Zealand – our editor and co-founder John Adams was born in Dunedin and grew up in Hawkes Bay before migrating to Australia. SEN has honoured that connection over the years through unstinting support of NZ security technology companies. The SEN team is excited to expand that support with SECTECH NZ.
