Johnson Controls Seeks Service Tech

♦ Johnson Controls seeks service tech – as a service security technician you will be responsible for the servicing of existing access control, CCTV, intercom and duress systems.

Systems you will be working with include C-Cure, FLIR, GMFS/Traka, Sightlogix and biometric systems. Experience or certification in C-Cure, Integriti or Gallagher preferred but not required.

This full-time role will also have you quoting and running small/medium fit-outs and upgrades on as required. You will be well supported with JC’s internal remote tech support and structured training programs. Opportunity to develop experience in other areas including cyber security and sales.

Major responsibilities include:

* Diagnoses and fault finding of all security equipment
* Preventative maintenance of existing sites
* Installation of small/medium commercial projects
* Commissioning of small to medium commercial projects
* Quoting of faults found on maintenances
* Liaising with subcontractors during the commissioning of projects
* Assisting the commercial projects team with new and existing works
* Customer relationship management.

The right person:

* The successful candidate must be an Australian resident, who holds a valid NSW driver’s licence, cable licence, security licence and building industry induction card
* Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
* Strong systems, network and PC related skills plus a strong installation and commissioning ethic
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work on their own within a team.
