Kaba Mas X-10 SCEC-Approved High Security Lock – Kaba Mas X-10 is a self-powered high security electronic lock approved by the Security Construction and Equipment Committee (SCEC) for Class A and Class B container and door applications, including Class B Plus containers.

Along with SCEC approval, the Kaba Mas X-10 high security locks is also approved for US Government use under Federal Specification FF-L-2740B, Style 1.

The X-10 uses PowerStar technology to eliminate reliance on batteries, reducing maintenance requirements and the risk of power-related failure. A backlit LCD guides users through combination changes and lock operation, while advanced manipulation resistance and audit features provide enhanced security oversight. Failed entry attempts are logged automatically after three unsuccessful tries.

The X-10 resists attack via drilling, X-ray, vibration, and high-voltage interference. It maintains non-resettable audit records and is suited to high-grade government and commercial applications where compliance, reliability and tamper resistance are mandatory. The unit is backed by a two-year factory warranty.

Features include SCEC-approved for Class A/B containers, FF-L-2740B compliance, self-powered operation, PowerStar generator, non-resettable audit trail, manipulation resistance, and backlit display with user guidance.
