Local Buy Seeks Security Suppliers For Security Services, Equipment And Maintenance.
Government procurement agency Local Buy has opened a tender to establish a register of pre-qualified suppliers for security services, equipment, and maintenance.
Local Buy currently manages 52 arrangements across various portfolios, including fleet, civil works, ICT, consultancy, corporate equipment, corporate services, and industrial commodities. Annually, approximately $A800 million in procurement spending occurs through these arrangements.
This tender is open to qualified suppliers capable of providing these services to local governments in Queensland, the Northern Territory, and other approved organisations, for which Local Buy facilitates procurement by managing arrangements that meet legislative and compliance standards.
This tender covers a broad scope of security-related goods and services. Suppliers selected through this process will be listed as pre-qualified, simplifying procurement for participating councils and approved buyers.
Suppliers wishing to become pre-qualified need to respond successfully to this tender or similar periodic opportunities provided every 3 months. Existing Local Buy suppliers already appointed under previous arrangements do not need to re-apply unless they seek appointment to new categories or arrangements.
This Local Buy seeks security suppliers tender closes on 31 May – you can learn more here or read more SEN news here.
