LSC Security Supplies reports it has been appointed a distribution partner for Milesight Technology.

The agreement sees the surveillance system manufacturer secure its first national distributor down under. Installers can expect to see a broad range of Milesight network cameras and NVRs to hit the shelves across LSC’s Australian branch network toward the end of November.

“Milesight’s focused range of smart products is the perfect fit for our customers” said Dave Cooper, electronic security product manager, LSC. “With video content analysis (VCA) available as standard across the full range, plus a host of other exciting smart features available at a series level such as Smart IR II, SIP/VoIP, Starlight Premium and Advanced Heat Mapping, there is plenty of exciting technology for installers to sink their teeth into.”

Milesight video content analysis (VCA) allows installers to utilise up to 10 detection modes across the full Milesight camera range. Cooper said this commitment to providing installers with feature-rich products at every price point sets Milesight apart from its contemporaries, which are known to limit such functionality to mid-to-top tier product ranges.

“A tighter portfolio of smart products reduces the complexity of the quoting, ordering and stocking process – an added benefit that we know installers will love,” Cooper said.
