Makita DTD173RTJ Cordless Impact Driver – Makita DTD173RTJ is an 18V cordless brushless impact driver designed for precision fastening tasks in both wood and metal applications arriving soon at one of Total Tools’ 127 national outlets.
Featuring a compact design, the tool measures 111 mm in length, 81 mm wide, and 234 mm high, and weighs 1.5 kg with battery.
This impact driver provides a maximum fastening torque of 180Nm, accommodating standard bolts (M5–M16), high-strength bolts (M5–M14), and wood screws using auger bits up to 24 mm. It supports a no-load speed of up to 3600 RPM and delivers up to 3800 impacts per minute (IPM).
Improving on previous models, the DTD173RTJ features a slimmer tool body and a refined switch panel layout. A ring-shaped LED provides even illumination around the bit, improving visibility. Brightness levels can be adjusted via the mode switch button.
The DTD173RTJ includes a pair of 5.0Ah batteries, a rapid charger, and a Makpac Connector Box Type 2 for secure storage and portability. It also features a convenient belt clip as standard equipment.
