MANNY Pirrotta, formerly of BGWT, has been appointed FLIR head of security for Australia, New Zealand, PNG and the South Pacific Islands.
This is a key role, given FLIR’s recent acquisitions of CCTV power houses like DigiMerge and Lorex Technology, each of which occupies different and highly significant layers of the huge North American market.
“FLIR is going to surprise the market this year with key product releases in a number of areas,” said Pirrotta. “Security is seen within the company as a key area of growth we will be focusing on over the next couple of years.”
