MCS Wins Gold Coast
♦ MCS Wins Gold Coast – Mobile Camera Security has won a tender for the supply, maintenance and relocation services of City of Gold Coast’s mobile CCTV safety cameras.
Gold Coast’s Safety Camera Network is designed to create a safer environment for those who visit, live and work in the city – there are now over 700 cameras to support the police and other agencies to maintain public safety. Cameras are monitored 24/7 by licensed operators within a central control room. The operators proactively observe images, detect incidents and notify police if necessary.
The city’s fleet of mobile cameras can be temporarily deployed throughout the Gold Coast. Mobile cameras are used to record and monitor public safety issues such as anti-social behaviour and graffiti. The mobile cameras can also be used at large events and for disaster recovery. Information captured can be provided to the Queensland Police Service to assist them in investigations.
Mobile cameras are also located at many of the city’s skate parks and at some urban villages including Burleigh Heads, Varsity Lakes, Chevron Island, Nobby Beach and the Health and Knowledge precinct.
With over a decade’s experience, Mobile Camera Security specialises in designing and building premium, Australian-made and Australian certified security products. As well as solar-powered CCTV security trailers, MCS also offers diesel-powered mobile CCTV solutions and emerging designs.
