Milestone Systems has announced the appointment of Brett Hansen as South Pacific country manager.

Hansen will be responsible for driving further growth for Milestone Systems across a diverse range of new and existing markets in the region, while facilitating large-scale projects and partnerships, as well as leading the company’s local team.

“Milestone Systems is rapidly expanding in the region and is at the forefront of some very exciting technologies,” said Hansen.

“Our open platform means that we are the cornerstone for some of the world’s most cutting-edge security, with the company being committed to a very strong programme of research and development — which is proving to be a driving factor behind our growth in the region.”

Hansen has been with Milestone Systems since July 2018, previously fulfilling the role of distribution channel manager. Prior to his time at Milestone Systems, he worked for the Secure Issuance team at HID Global — ultimately performing the role of regional sales manager Australia & New Zealand Secure Issuance. Hansen holds a master’s degree in Business and Technology from the University of New South Wales.

This appointment sees Hansen move into the role recently vacated by Jordan Cullis, who now leads Milestone Systems’ sales and marketing for the APAC region.
