Nedap AEOS AP7803 Blue is a compact, robust, door controller designed to bring locks, sensors, and alarm inputs into Nedap’s AEOS access control system.
Powered by 12-27V DC, or POE+, AEOS Blue has dimensions of 122 x 120 x 35mm, weighs 200g, an operating temperature of 0-55C, and can operate standalone, as well as being networked.
The controller has an 800 MHz CPU, 256 MB SDRAM, 2GB Flash memory and an RJ45 port supporting 10/100Mbps Ethernet with support for up to 32 connected units.
Power provision for readers is 500mA 12V DC shared by both readers, while locks are supported by 600mA 12V DC (shared by both locks), with PoE+ delivering a maximum of 500mA at 12V DC for readers.
There are 2 x RS485 or 2 x Wiegand reader connections, 2 x 3 secured inputs (door monitor, manual unlock, emergency unlock), and 2 digital inputs (AC OK, battery low).
Outputs provided include 2 x 1 relay, dry contacts (NC, COM, NO), to a maximum of 30V DC at a current draw of 2A, and there are 2 x 3 open collector outputs (green LED, red LED, beeper), with a maximum of 20 mA each. Other features include tamper detection via an optical tamper sensor (AP7803) and a digital input (for connecting external tamper switch).
