New Dahua DH-IPC-HDW3667EM-S-IL-ANZ 6MP WizSense Turret Camera Coming To SecTech!
New Dahua DH-IPC-HDW3667EM-S-IL-ANZ 6MP WizSense Turret – Dahua Technology has introduced the DH-IPC-HDW3667EM-S-IL-ANZ, a 6MP WizSense network turret camera designed to deliver AI-powered surveillance performance in variable lighting conditions.
As part of Dahua’s WizSense 3 series, this camera integrates deep learning algorithms to support intelligent perimeter protection, accurate classification of human and vehicle targets, and smart motion detection. With a 1/2.7-inch CMOS image sensor, it delivers a maximum resolution of 3288 x 1850 pixels at up to 30 frames per second.
The camera is equipped with dual illumination, combining infrared and warm white light, each capable of reaching up to 30 metres. This Smart Dual Light functionality allows users to configure lighting based on scene requirements, including full-colour imaging at night using warm light. The unit also features starlight technology for improved low-light performance and supports smart scene self-adaptation (AI SSA) to automatically adjust imaging parameters based on environmental conditions.
The DH-IPC-HDW3667EM-S-IL-ANZ uses a fixed 2.8 mm or 3.6 mm focal length lens mounted via an M12 interface. The 2.8 mm lens provides a horizontal field of view of 110 degrees, while the 3.6 mm lens offers 86 degrees. DORI distances vary based on lens selection, with the 2.8 mm lens capable of detecting subjects at 84.8m, recognising at 17.0m, and identifying at 8.5m. The 3.6 mm variant extends detection to 98.7m, recognition to 19.7m, and identification to 9.9m.
Smart analytics are a core feature of the camera. Perimeter protection includes tripwire and intrusion detection, with the ability to distinguish between people, vehicles, and non-motorised targets to reduce false alarms. Dahua’s SMD 4.0 technology is integrated to further minimise nuisance alerts. AcuPick, another Dahua smart function, uses deep learning algorithms and back-end integration to quickly locate and retrieve video footage of target objects.
Compression formats include H.265, H.264, MJPEG (for sub-stream), and AI-enhanced variants. The main stream supports the full 6MP resolution at 25 or 30 fps, with 2 additional streams configurable for lower resolutions. Bit rate control is available via CBR, VBR, and ABR, and supported frame rates and resolutions range from CIF (352 x 288) to 6MP (3288 x 1850).
Image enhancement functions include 3D digital noise reduction, wide dynamic range rated at 120dB, backlight and highlight compensation, privacy masking (up to 8 areas), defog, and smart illumination control. The region of interest can be defined across 4 zones, and image rotation is supported at 0, 90, 180, and 270 degrees.
The camera incorporates a built-in microphone and supports multiple audio compression standards, including PCM, G.711a/u, G.726, and G.723. It also supports audio detection and is capable of raising alarms for abnormal sound events.
Alarm events include tampering, motion detection, scene change, network disconnection, IP conflict, illegal access, SD card error or capacity issues, and voltage detection. Alarm input and output interfaces are single channels.
For storage, the DH-IPC-HDW3667EM-S-IL-ANZ supports microSD cards up to 512 GB and includes FTP, SFTP, and NAS options. Networking features include IPv4/IPv6 support, ONVIF compliance (Profiles S, G, T, and M), and a variety of security protocols including HTTPS encryption, X.509 certificate generation, digest authentication, IP filtering, and syslog.
Power is supplied via 12V DC or PoE (IEEE 802.3af), with automatic switching if both are connected. The camera has a maximum power consumption of 9.5W with all features active. It is protected by an IP67-rated enclosure for outdoor use and has an operating temperature range from -40C to 60C. The housing is constructed from metal, and the unit weighs 0.53 kg.
Optional accessories include ceiling, wall, junction, and pole mounts, as well as SD card options and an integrated mount tester.
