NT Govt Offering $15,000 Grants For Alarms, Access, CCTV Upgrades For Businesses.
NT Govt Offering $A15,000 Grants For Security Upgrades – Northern Territory Government’s Business Security Assistance Program is offering funding support to protect business premises across the Territory from break-ins and crime.
Open from now until June 30, 2026, the program allows eligible businesses to access financial assistance for security upgrades including CCTV, alarms, reinforced doors and windows, and other approved measures.
To qualify, applicants must operate as a Territory enterprise — either for-profit or not-for-profit — or be a landlord or body corporate under the Unit Titles Act (NT) 1975. Applicants must own or lease premises in the NT, be fully legally compliant, and have an actively trading business operating from the location.
The program covers 75 per cent of approved upgrade costs, up to a maximum of $15,000 (GST exclusive) per location. Multiple upgrades are permitted per site within this cap. Only services provided by pre-approved contractors are eligible. Applicants must consult the Biz Secure Program Appendix for eligible works and choose suppliers from the NT Government’s approved list.
Applications must be submitted with all required documentation, with the Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade assessing and notifying outcomes. Businesses requiring assistance can contact the Department or a Territory Business Advisor via phone or email.
