Dahua WizColor TiOC Pro Next-Gen Night Surveillance Arrives.
Dahua WizColor TiOC Pro Next-Gen Night Surveillance – Dahua has launched its WizColor TiOC Pro series in Australia, offering a colour surveillance solution for low-light environments without the need for intrusive lighting.
The camera is intended for locations where traditional lighting-based surveillance creates problems. Its passive low-light capability suits sites with environmental restrictions or a need for unobtrusive monitoring, including residential or commercial applications.
The WizColor TiOC Pro uses a large F1.0 aperture, a 2.9μm pixel sensor, and Dahua’s AI-powered image signal processing to increase light intake and improve low-light performance.
According to Dahua, this very fast aperture combined with image processing delivers 2.5x more light than a standard F1.6 lens, allowing the system to reduce motion blur and noise while enhancing colour and detail, allowing the camera to produce natural colour images in near-darkness.
The system avoids the use of strong supplementary lighting, which can create glare, attract insects, and reduce privacy. Instead, it delivers high-definition colour footage in low ambient light without relying on infrared or greyscale imaging.
“Our customers are asking for better night surveillance that doesn’t rely on aggressive lighting or cause false alarms,” said Joe De Martino, training and solutions specialist at Dahua Technology Oceania.
“With WizColor, we’re delivering a professional-grade solution that’s simple, effective, and built for local conditions — from backyards to coastal aquaculture operations.”
