NT Seeks Security Works

♦ NT Seeks Security Works – Northern Territory Government’s Department of Infrastructure Planning and Logistics is seeking repairs and maintenance of security, access control, CCTV, public address and associated communications cabling for a period of 12 months.

While the tender does not specify the nature of the works, they may be significant, given the broad remit of the department, which covers infrastructure, lands and transport across the Northern Territory.

NT’s Department of Infrastructure Planning plays a lead role in planning, constructing and maintaining government infrastructure across the NT and is responsible for delivering the NT’s infrastructure program, procurement, programming capital works and coordinating minor works, repairs and maintenance for NT Government assets.

The Lands and Planning division provides strategic and long-term integrated land and infrastructure planning that supports community needs, sustainable economic development and future growth across the NT.

The Transport and Civil Services division connects the NT through our people, services, strategies and management of transport infrastructure and delivers a transport system that is safe, efficient, sustainable, innovative, equitable and economical.

It is the NT Government’s central transport authority responsible for the NT’s transport system from design, development and management of our transport infrastructure to regulation and licensing of the vehicles and people that use our transport networks.

The tender is for systems in the Darwin area and closes on September 30 – you can find out more here.
