Oculus has a toughened glass viewing window that is optically correct and distortion-free, providing brighter, clearer images, even at full telephoto zoom ratio. With wiper as standard, the glass is kept free from build-up of dust or debris and allows the unit to perform in all weather conditions.
Utilising Optical Incremental Encoders, Oculus can accurately pinpoint and maintain its position, automatically correcting itself should an external force cause the head to move.Oculus can also be specified with a thermal imaging option for detection up to 1.2km away.
Other options include built in IR lighting and washer function. An automotive use version is also available.
