Optex CX-702 Long-Range PIR

Optex CX-702 long range PIR features sealed optics with dual structure, double conductive shielding of twin pyro electric element, dual purpose lens, double knockouts and a walk-test LED.

Despite its compact size, this sensor has solid performance, including wide angle coverage of 85 degrees across a detection area of 21 x 21 metres with 66 detection zones and long-range coverage of 45 x 2.4 metres incorporating 22 zones.

This sensor has a detectable target speed between 0.3-1.5m/sec, power input between 9.5-16V, current draw of 8mA, an NC alarm output, -20 to 50C operating temperature, weight of 200g for the wired version, with a wireless option available.

The CX-702 series features double conductive shielding to avoid disturbance by intense light and RFI and is designed to give extremely stable long-range detection performance in a variety of internal commercial and industrial applications, while the CX-702MKII is a Grade 2 indoor sensor.

The Optex CX-702 sensor’s dual-purpose lenses offer wide and long-range detection by rotating the spherical lens upside down to convert a wide angle into a long narrow range detection area. Keep the same appearance and adapt to different security environments.
