OPTRAFFIC Mini CCTV Trailer

OPTRAFFIC Mini CCTV Trailer Delivers Solar-Powered Surveillance For Remote Sites.

OPTRAFFIC Mini CCTV Trailer – OPTRAFFIC Mini CCTV trailer is a compact solar-powered surveillance system combining multiple camera configurations, 4G/5G communications, local recording and remote video management for temporary and remote security applications.

Designed for deployment without fixed power or communications infrastructure, the Mini CCTV Trailer incorporates a 5.5m manually raised mast, 400W double-sided solar panel with manual rotation and tilt, MPPT solar controller and a 200Ah 12.8V maintenance-free battery.

Camera configurations include 3 x 4MP bullet cameras, 3 x 4MP bullet cameras with a 5MP PTZ, 2 x 5MP PTZ cameras, or 2 x 4MP bullet cameras with a 4K panoramic camera. Custom camera configurations are also available.

Local storage is 256GB as standard, with 512GB and 1TB options. Remote communications are handled by a 4G/5G router, allowing video and system information to be accessed remotely.

Work it out for your site
How long does it run without sun?
The stated 200Ah 12.8V battery holds about 2560Wh. Set the load and the harvest you would expect at your site.
25W
800Wh
Reserve with no solar input4.3days
A sizing sketch, not a design document. Battery energy is a SEN calculation from the stated 200Ah at 12.8V and assumes the full 2560Wh is usable — a real design allows a depth-of-discharge margin, so treat the reserve figure as an optimistic ceiling. System draw and solar harvest are your assumptions: OPTRAFFIC publishes neither, and harvest varies with season, latitude, panel orientation, shading and weather. Charging losses, cold-weather capacity and PTZ or illuminator duty cycles are ignored.

The trailer integrates OPTRAFFIC's OPTRAFFIC ‘VSMS’ which provides monitoring through web browsers and mobile applications. OPTRAFFIC VSMS combines real-time fleet management, event alerts, data analytics and edge AI functions for monitoring deployed surveillance assets and responding to security events.

Power consumption is designed to support continuous operation using automatic solar charging. An optional 450W/25A mains charger can provide an alternative charging source where required. The trailer incorporates 2 work lights and 2 red and blue warning lights, with a warning speaker available as an option.

Camera configurations
Four ways to fit it out
The trailer ships in four standard camera configurations. Pick one to see what it gives you.

Configurations as published by OPTRAFFIC; custom configurations are also available. Combined sensor totals are SEN calculations, with the 4K panoramic counted at 8.3MP. Sensor total is not a measure of coverage — field of view and pixel density decide that.

OPTRAFFIC designed the system for deployment by a single person, with a compact tower structure and heavy-duty base. Dual-trailer towing is supported for transport, while the structure is hot-dip galvanised with a specified 20-year corrosion protection system.

The OPTRAFFIC Mini CCTV Trailer will be displayed on stand D10 at Security Exhibition & Conference this week – you can learn more about OPTRAFFIC here or read more SEN news here.
