Paradox HD10 Alarm Verification Camera For Internal And External Applications.
Paradox HD10 Alarm Verification Camera – Paradox has introduced the HD10 alarm verification camera, a 2MP Full HD camera designed for indoor and outdoor surveillance and integrated into the Paradox security ecosystem – you’ll need to check with your local supplier for availability.
Paradox HD10 uses a CMOS sensor with a 108-degree horizontal angle of view and supports intelligent, system-triggered recording for alarm and motion events.
The HD10 uses adaptive dual night vision with infrared and white LEDs and incorporates 2-way audio for live communication. Video is encoded using H.264 or MJPEG, with RTSP and RTP support, while a microSD card provides up to 128GB of local storage. Alarm recordings can run for up to 5 minutes, with motion recordings up to 2 minutes.
Work it out for your siteHow far does 108° at 2MP hold detail?A wide view spreads 1920 pixels across a lot of scene. Drag the distance to see the pixel density at that range and which IEC 62676-4 detail level it reaches.

At 5 m the scene is about 13.8 m wide, so a person there gets about 139 pixels per metre.
Source. Resolution and angles of view as published by Paradox; IP56 as reported by SEN. Detail bands are from IEC 62676-4. Pixel densities and distances are SEN calculations for an ideal lens: wide-angle distortion, compression, lighting and night mode all reduce real detail, and Paradox does not publish an IR range. A sizing sketch, not a design document.
The camera connects to the Paradox M Series via PoE and can be managed through the BlueEye app. Thanks to K70M keypad integration, users can also access live views from up to 30 HD10 cameras. The camera also supports remote firmware upgrades over Ethernet.

Paradox does not publish HD10 bitrates. Busy or night scenes run higher.

Clip counts are SEN calculations using decimal gigabytes; they ignore file-system overhead, audio, overwrite behaviour and MJPEG, which is far larger than H.264. There’s a maximum of 2 simultaneous user live streams per camera. Streams use P2P (peer-to-peer) whenever possible, with automatic fallback to cloud streaming when a P2P connection won’t work. A third, independent stream is reserved for CMS and is available following an alarm condition.

Paradox’s HD10 is designed for external or internal applications, with an IP56 rating and an operating temperature range of -10 to 40C. This camera’s compact enclosure measures 67 x 66 x 146mm and weighs 318g.

AvailabilityBefore you specify the HD10
Availability varies by market, so check with your local Paradox supplier. The HD10 joins an M Series system over PoE, so confirm compatibility with the panel and keypads you already have installed when you order.
