It was awarded during a recent banquet held at the Pheasant Run resort in St. Charles, Ill., which is part of the Chicagoland area. According to Pelco, the Superstar Award represents the security industry’s most objective and comprehensive evaluation of manufacturers. It is given to the vendor that receives the highest score on a survey of PSA members. Scoring is based on technical support, price advantage, responsiveness, ship dates, return authorizations, local support, and product quality and reliability.
