Peninsula Health Seeks PERS – Peninsula Health is seeking an AUSTEL-licensed contractor for the provision, installation, and maintenance of Personal Emergency Response Services (PERS) to support the Mount Eliza Personal Alarm Call Service (MePACS).
The tender, issued under PHCN202501, covers delivery and ongoing support of PERS across the MePACS national client base, which includes around 48,000 users. The successful provider will support Peninsula Health in maintaining personal alert services to vulnerable, elderly, and frail clients across Victoria and beyond.
MePACS currently serves as the contracted provider of Personal Alert Victoria (PAV), a state-funded initiative supporting emergency monitoring for at-risk residents. This partnership is part of a broader service delivery framework that includes monitoring, device management, and response coordination.
Peninsula Health operates a range of healthcare facilities in the Mornington Peninsula and Frankston regions, including Frankston Hospital, Rosebud Hospital, rehabilitation and community health centres, mental health services, and residential aged care. The new contractor will work alongside MePACS to deliver innovative and high-availability emergency response systems for these communities.
