Penrith Integrator Hix Group has been awarded the contract to install CCTV and security solutions at tourist hotspot, Echo Point, at Katoomba in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney.
The security upgrade is part of a programme to construct a new Visitor Information Centre at Echo Point. The new building will feature interactive information displays, learning areas, a multi-purpose space, souvenirs and administration areas.
The upgrades, which will increase the capacity of people able to visit the centre, will help cope with the 4 million tourists expected to be visiting the City by 2025. Enhanced security will ensure visitors to the area are safe.
Hix Group incorporates 6 distinct divisions, employs more than 70 staff and provides electrical, data and integrated services, including specialised civil services, CCTV and security, and fire services inspection, certification and maintenance.
