♦ Permaconn Nx Witness Integration – security communications provider Permaconn and VMS developer Network Optix have collaborated to bring a new video alarm integration to market.

The integration utilises Permaconn communicators, including the PM54 which is a 3-in-1 alarm, router and hotspot, and Nx Witness VMS. to offer video verification and virtual patrol services, which allows operators to quickly access video footage within their automation software.

“Combining any Permaconn communicator with Permaconn’s video service and Nx Witness VMS helps to reduce nuisance alarms, costly guard patrols and enables increased situational awareness and response times using video verified alarms,” said .

The integration between the Permaconn and Nx Witness v5.0 allows users to leverage video recorded by Nx Witness for the video verification and virtual patrol services.

Nx Witness VMS is a cross-platform IP video management system (VMS) designed to discover, view, record, and manage IP video cameras so operators and managers can monitor, analyze and react to critical events in real-time locally or via cloud, using workstations or mobile devices.
