Physical Security For NSW Schools Sought By NSW Education Department.
Physical Security For NSW Schools – NSW Department of Education has gone to tender seeking physical security for NSW schools – note that what NSW Dept of Ed means by physical security is security officers, patrols and alarm response.
The department is seeking to establish a service arrangement for the provision of physical security services which is cost-effective and fit-for-purpose. The following security services are required for department schools and sites across the state:
- Guards – Static Guard Services
- Asset Protection – Mobile Patrol – Single Site
- Asset Protection – Mobile Patrol (Exclusive)
- Asset Protection – Alarm Response
- Guards – Crowd Control
- Guards – Personal Protection (Bodyguard).
The provision of the services will be on an on-demand basis. The services will be available and provided as required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including weekends and public holidays.

As part of the process, applicants will be asked to provide information about modern slavery risks in their businesses and actions taken to address these risks. You can visit the NSW Anti-slavery Commissioner’s GRS webpage for more information. The closing date and time for clarification questions is May 8 at 5pm.
