Inner Range Re-Engineers IR Connect Cloud Service In Preparation For New Developments.

Inner Range Re-Engineers IR Connect – Inner Range has re-engineered its IR Connect cloud service in preparation for new developments.

“As reported in SEN Inner Range has invested heavily in engineering teams that are doubling down on our enterprise access control, video surveillance and security system – Integriti,” said Inner Range’s Mark Edwards.

“The next significant milestone from Inner Range’s R&D team is re-engineering our cloud service to prepare us for a plethora of new products over the next 3-18months.”

According Inner Range’s director of IoT services, Jason Hartley, IR Connect is a unified cloud platform that brings all Inner Range’s connected products and services together into one experience.

“Our existing SkyCommand App has been reengineered and renamed to ‘IR Connect’ in preparation for a series of exciting new connected products and services that Inner Range will be releasing over the next few months and over the coming years,” Hartley said. “Importantly, IR Connect is backwards compatible with the SkyCommand App, so all users will have an easy transition to this new feature rich app.”

Hartley said the Inner Range team has committed a serious amount of resource into the project, and is proud to have released the IR Connect app to customers to further enable the IR connected eco-system.

“This development project has significantly improved our cloud connectivity capabilities, allowing us to bring exciting products and services to our customers that would not have been possible before,” Hartley said.

“We understand how important data sovereignty and security is to our customers and this is why Inner Range has taken a unique hybrid approach to cloud computing. Our customers critical site and user data is stored securely and safely onsite behind the cyber security policies of the organization.

“IR Connect platform’s job is providing seamless remote access to their system whether it be a smart mobile device, a laptop or tablet, or even our Integriti Enterprise software.

“Essentially, the IR Connect platform gives our customers all the security benefits of an on-premise system but the convenience of a secure, encrypted cloud connection from anywhere in the world.” concludes Hartley.

Hartley said installers, integrators and end users should look out for the new IR Connect app – delineated by the Inner Range’s logo – that’s now available on the Apple and Google stores.

“Clearly this is a giant leap forward for the Inner Range team as we prepare to launch many new products this year,” Edwards said.

“This hybrid cloud connected approach definitely sets a new expectation around data sovereignty and security around the end users’ data.”
