National security integrator PMT Security has partnered with sports fashion retailer, JD Sports, to provide end-to-end security solutions for its 27 stores nationally. The partnership covers the deployment of all alarm systems and security cameras.
JD Sports entered discussions with PMT Security following a review of the UK-based company’s security operations in Australia and decided to award the account to PMT after witnessing the company’s expertise working with retailers across Australia.
“PMT has provided JD sports with a comprehensive and expert service from design, installation and handover of our CCTV and alarm systems nationally,” said Mark Boyd, head of profit protection APAC at JD Sports.
Paul Newby, national brand manager at PMT Security said PMT had a lot of very large retail accounts across the country.
“Due to the systems we have in place, coupled with our extensive experience in the sector, we are able to roll out solutions in a very short space of time, react to customer needs and plan jobs with optimal efficiency,” Newby said.
According to PMT’s Kane Mason, the company has a large footprint in the physical security landscape in Australia, and the company has a large retail division which is currently experiencing significant growth. As such, the company has extensive experience in national multi-site rollouts.
“Several proprietary systems allow PMT Security to quickly evaluate a retail space, account for physical factors such as room size, angles, availability of power and lighting, then deploy the optimal hardware to cover the space, at the best possible cost,” Mason said.
“We have systems in place that allow us to do things that others cannot, and offer better value for money. Our deep experience has taught us the best ways to cover a retail space and respond to the exact requirements of any given situation.
“This partnership with JD Sports allows us to bring that expertise to a large, dynamic player in the sports fashion sector, and provide exactly the security and performance that they need to secure their assets.”
