Ports North Seeks CCTV Maintenance – Ports North has released a tender calling for suitably qualified suppliers to undertake annual maintenance of the CCTV system network across its 9 ports.
The contract will run for an initial term of 3 years, with the possibility of 2 extensions of 2 years each, at Ports North’s discretion.
Far North Queensland Ports Corporation Limited, trading as Ports North, is a government-owned corporation responsible for the development and management of port facilities in the state’s far north.
Established under the Government Owned Corporations Act 1993 (Qld), Ports North manages key ports including Cairns, Cape Flattery, Karumba, Mourilyan, Skardon River, Quintell Beach, Thursday Island, Burketown and Cooktown.
The CCTV network maintenance contract covers the entire Ports North estate, which supports a range of commercial, defence, and tourism activities, including bulk cargo handling, regional freight, passenger services, and cruise shipping.
The tender seeks to ensure ongoing performance and reliability of surveillance systems supporting critical port infrastructure and operations.
