QBuild Seeks High Risk Security Services – Queenland’s government builder, QBuild has gone to tender seeking service and maintenance for a high-risk location in Far North Queensland.

There are a number of low-risk security tenders associated with the works to be seen on the QBuild etender portal which suggests to SEN the site is the high and low security Lotus Glen Correctional facility, south west of Cairns.

Lotus Glen provides a correctional service for high, medium, low and open classification inmates, including a prison farm with a capacity for 115 ‘open security’ inmates.

QBuild is the Queensland Government’s builder and builds and maintains government-owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations and correctional and health facilities in regional and remote areas operating from 20 offices and 32 remote depots.
